Gympie RSL has unveiled a new 24-metre-long mural on Sunday 18th August, coinciding with Vietnam Veteran’s Day commemorations.
Titled ‘Connections – Looking through the Lens’, the new installation has brought the previously blank brick carpark wall to life, with a design celebrating our community and its connection with Veterans, showcasing the values we all hold close to our hearts.
The mural was designed and painted by Angel Goodfellow from Heart & Soul Sisters.

Gympie RSL would like to sincerely thank Inspiration Paints Gympie for donating the paint; Neal’s Engineering Solutions for designing, painting & installing the giant steel frame; all the staff & volunteers within our Veteran Centre for their support; the Gympie RSL Board of Directors; Veteran & Community artists involved including Jasen, Katie, Sue, Deb, Maria, Isabella, Adrian; and Veteran researchers Muzzy, Doug & Graham.
