Gympie Medical Transport
Gympie Medical Transport (GMT) is a volunteer-run, not-for profit organisation providing essential transport for Gympie residents travelling to non-urgent medical appointments outside the region.
Since launching in 2021 with two vehicles and 15 volunteers, GMT has grown to seven vehicles and 45 volunteer drivers. In the past year, volunteers have travelled more than 308,782 kilometres and contributed over 8,061 hours.
GMT provides affordable, personalised door-to-door transport to medical appointments across the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Nambour, Buderim, Caloundra, Hervey Bay and Brisbane,
supporting clients of all ages, including those accessing NDIS, aged care and Indigenous community services.
Operating without government funding, GMT relies on grants, fundraising, sponsorships and community support to maintain its fleet and safety standards. Gympie RSL is proud to support GMT as the beneficiary of October’s Community Raffles. Proceeds will help GMT continue delivering this vital service and ensure members of our community can access important medical appointments when they need them.

We highly recommend booking a table to ensure you don’t miss out.
No Show Policy: Reservations are held for 15 minutes from booking time. If no guests arrive or call within 15 minutes after the reservation time, the club reserves the right to offer the table to other guests.
