Throughout July, Gympie RSL is proud to support the Gympie Region Homeless Assistance Association through proceeds raised from our Community Raffles. With winter bringing colder temperatures and increased hardship for many vulnerable members of our community, the work undertaken by the Gympie Region Homeless Assistance Association is more important than ever. The organisation provides evening meals to people experiencing homelessness and hardship across the Gympie region from Monday to Friday each week, ensuring those in need have access to a warm, nutritious meal and a friendly face.
These meal services offer more than just food. They provide comfort, connection, and support to individuals who may be facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. For many, a hot meal and a welcoming conversation make a significant difference during the colder winter months.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and guests who participate in the Community Raffles, Gympie RSL is able to assist organisations such as the Gympie Region Homeless
Assistance Association in continuing their valuable work.
Together, we are helping make a positive difference in the lives of some of the region’s most vulnerable residents while ensuring vital community support remains available when it is needed most.
