Sponsorship & Community Support Funding Programs
Gympie RSL is committed to supporting the community within which we live and operate. We aim to make a positive difference to by funding specific projects that have community benefit.
To achieve this, we proudly operate a Community Grants Program that enables Incorporated Associations, Not-for-Profits, and Organisations that have charitable status, to apply for funding.
We also operate our STRIKE Program (Supporting The Region In Kid’s Education) which allows primary schools to apply for up to $5,000 for projects supporting education.

Community Grant applications are considered on a quarterly basis. Applications received during a set 3-month window quarter will be determined in the following month. For example, applications received from January – March will be determined in April. Applications received during April – June will be determined in July (and so on).
Please allow sufficient time for your application to be received, processed and determined prior to your project commencing. We cannot provide funding retrospectively for projects that have commenced and/or have been completed.
STRIKE applications are considered twice a year. Gympie RSL will contact eligible schools directly and invite applications.
Each application is assessed individually to determine eligibility and ensure it fits within the Objects of our Association. For any enquiries or for further information, please contact the Secretary on (07) 5483 7707 or email secretary@gympiersla.com.au.
Community Raffles
We help support local organisations by raising funds during our weekly Community Raffles, hosted every Friday and Saturday evening.
