Highly versatile Sunshine Coast soloist Simon Meola will bring his unique style to the stage when he performs at Gympie RSL this November.
With a natural approach to live performances, Simon has a repertoire of over 600 covers and original compositions, catering for every age bracket and musical style.
His playlist includes a range of modern contemporary, blues, roots, rock, pop, alternative, reggae and more.
His style includes the creation of live loops, giving an ambient and fun feel to his music. Simon has been performing as a soloist, as well as in duo and trios as a full-time professional musician since 2005.
Playing over 4,000 live shows during this time, he also writes, records and performs his own original tracks.
Throughout his career, he has opened for big name acts including The Birds of Tokyo, The Rubens, Mental as Anything, The Choir Boys, James Reyne and The Radiators. He has also performed with Jeff Martin from the Tea Party.
